Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Quick Impa Boss Guide – Footsteps of the Giant
(NOTICE: FINALLY back on my preferred video editor!)
This is NOT intended as an exhaustive ability showcase, there are other videos for that. The purpose of this is to quickly demonstrate how to simply defeat bosses. There’s probably nothing for experienced Impa mains to learn here (actually they could probably throw in some additional easy tips). This is mostly for people who’ve heard the hype about Impa but aren’t sure how to use her yet and want “the short version”. This is an issue I had while I was first playing the game, I didn’t initially click with Impa.
If you don’t have a build such as I’m using here, it’s not big deal, she’s able to use this method “out of the box”. This build just speeds things up.
The demonstration is on Very Hard with no damage incurred, naturally.
Damage Per 100 KOs is an alternative you could use if you’re not very confident at being at 100% health much but that is situational in use as not all missions have 100 enemies to KO. The main thing is having 4 seals of 1 shape and 2 of another if you want the full attack power. Personally I’m happy ignoring that for the extra Attack Speed and Special Charge Rate which I consider the best seals for her. Regular Attack Damage is good for her playstyle as you’re spamming those a lot, but unfortunately that seal is a different shape than either of her hidden seals for her best weapon so you’d forfeit some attack boost to the weapon. I’m not really an Impa specialist but these are my observations. I even heard one guy say they ignored all the above and built her for Special Attack Damage – which they were pretty satisfied with. The bottom line is she’s pretty versatile.
